Flexibility Strengthening

All Flexibility Strengthening classes will follow the Alixa Flexibility method. Flexibility strengthening is an essential part of a dancer’s training. Having a good range of motion aids in making a dancer’s work appear more seamless, reduces the risk of injuries and soreness and aids in proper alignment.

Flexibility Strengthening class will focus on developing and increasing dancer’s individual static and dynamic flexibility and strength, required to execute various dance moves. In addition to flexibility training, core stability, cardiovascular endurance, and muscular strength are all areas that will be covered in this class.

Dress Code

All Levels Female
  • Shoes: Bare Feet, Footundeez, Jazz, or Ballet Shoes
  • Bottoms: Any Style/Colour Shorts or Leggings
  • Tops: Any Style/Colour Leotard, Sports Bra or Tank Top
  • Hair: Long Hair Secured Neatly Away from Face
  • Note: No Tights
