Ballet

Ballet is a graceful and struc­tured form of dance characterized by fluidity and precision of movement. Ballet classes focus on posture, turn-out, alignment, co-ordination, poise and more. Strong ballet technique is the foundation of many dance styles.

From beginner to advanced classes, dancers are formally trained while being taught the value of technique through The Soci­ety of Russ­ian Bal­let Syl­labus.

Exam­i­na­tions are offered through this syllabus for those that wish to achieve certification.

Pointe is a form of ballet dancing where dancers use hard toed shoes to support movement while dancing “on their toes”. Pointe classes are by teacher recommendation only; dancers are assessed for pointe readiness around age 12.
