Acro

Acro is the fusion of dance and acrobatic tricks such as tumbling skills, balances, and contortion. Acro classes work to improve confidence and coordination, while helping dancers develop strong muscles and increased flexibility.

Acro is a graceful yet powerful dance discipline; the strength of balances and aerial challenges gives Acro its breath-taking appearance. Dancers love acro because of the interesting tricks and partnering skills they learn in class.

We follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and have specific Acrobatic Arts classes for students wishing to
examine in acro. Acorbatic Arts focuses on safe and effective progressions in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Simple, thoughtful progressions take the beginner preschool level dancer from log rolls and summersaults to the advanced dancer tumbling effortlessly across the stage!
